Inaugural Recipient of the Revitalized AATB Grant Program
We are thrilled to announce the inaugural recipient of the revitalized AATB Grant Program: Dr. Shangping Wang, Principal Investigator, along with Co-Investigator Dr. Hai Yao, for their project titled "Accurate 3D Geometry Measurement and Quantitative Integrity Evaluation of Donor Meniscus Allografts."
FDA Issues Information for HCT/P Establishments Regarding the Recall of Saline and Sterile Water Products by Nurse Assist
The FDA is advising HCT/P establishments about a recall of products, sold under multiple brands, that may have been used in manufacturing human tissue for transplant. The notice includes a summary of the issue, considerations for HCT/P manufacturers, risk mitigation strategies, and reporting to FDA.

Last Chance to Join an AATB Council and Vote in the Upcoming Election
The AATB biennial election for 2024-2026 Council Officers will open June 3. In order to participate in these elections, you must be an AATB member currently serving on a council. If you are not currently a member of one of AATB’s eight councils and would like to join, or if you would like to change your council affiliation, make sure to do so before May 10 to be eligible to participate in the election.
