Through Score to Give More, over 1.6 million meals were provided to help feed our neighbors during the 2024-2025 college basketball season. For each free throw made, Food Lion Feeds donated 200 meals to a local food bank. Thank you to the college athletes who helped us Score to Give More this year! In our ongoing commitment to nourish our neighbors, Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation provided a $50,000 grant to Southside Community Farm, a community-focused initiative in Asheville making a huge impact in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Recognizing the importance of this initiative, Good Morning America presented the grant to Southside Community Farm. Through our food rescue program, feeding partners like Rowan Helping Ministries can provide meals in the communities we serve. Our associates also volunteer their time to help make and serve the food. These donations and volunteer hours have helped us reach our goal of donating one billion more meals, bringing the total to 1.5 billion meals since 2014.
