CVIOG Local Government Financial Documents Website is LiveCVIOG Local Government Financial Documents Website is Live As required by HB 122, the Carl Vinson Institute of Government recently completed development of a website giving local governments the ability to post financial documents, both adopted budgets and audited financial reports, on their website. This allows for increased transparency and accountability in government by making financial information easily accessible to the public. Local governments must now upload their budgets within 30 days of adoption, as well as audited financial statements as soon as practical to this website. Documents uploaded to the site must be in portable document format (PDF). Once uploaded to the site and reviewed by the site administrator, the documents will be available to anyone with an Internet connection.
