FREE DAY AT GEORGIA STATE PARKS AND HISTORIC SITES

Friends of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites is pleased to invite you to "Your State Parks Day" on Sept. 29, 2012 in honor of National Public Lands Day. Free admission and parking for the day is available at most sites so you can come out to experience your favorite park or historic site and also give a little back. 

Many volunteer chapters around the state will be hosting a service project that you can get involved in to help preserve and protect Georgia's most important treasures. Many sites will have free T-Shirts and door prize drawings to thank you for your efforts. 

Please join Friends of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites on this day of fun and discover how your stewardship can make a difference for Georgia.
