Law and Order at the Archives: Bootleggers, Counterfeiters, Privateers and Everything In Between

On Friday, September 13, noon-1:00 p.m., the Georgia Archives’ Lunch and Learn program will be presented by National Archives at Atlanta (NARA) archivist, Maureen Hill. The presentation will highlight the records at NARA relating to bootleggers, counterfeiters, privateers and everything in between.

Maureen has given many presentations on the records at NARA including the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), the Railroad Retirement Board, and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Maureen has a Masters of Library and Information Science from Valdosta State University. She has been an archivist at NARA since 2006. 

The Georgia Archives is located at 5800 Jonesboro Road, Morrow, Georgia.

Lunch and Learn Programs are free and open to the public and are sponsored by Friends of Georgia Archives and History (FOGAH). Door prizes are drawn at each Lunch and Learn program. No registration is required.
