Upson County & Thomaston City Reach SDS Agreement

The Department of Community Affairs (DCA) recently approved the Service Delivery Strategy (SDS) Agreement between Upson County and Thomaston City. City and county officials worked endlessly for six months to build the framework for their SDS. The plan consists of strategies for the provision of 27 different public services and is the structure for a comprehensive model of functional consolidation for many of those services. The last SDS between the two local governments was submitted and approved in 2007. They continue to collaborate for the betterment of the community. With this partnership, they are able to move forwrd with a plan that provides efficient, effective services to their constituents. |
