GCIP 2021 Grant Application Package Available in October

The 2021 Georgia County Internship Program (GCIP) Grant Application Package will be sent to all counties in October. More than 75 counties have participated in the program during the past 10 years. Any county is eligible to participate. Interns must be either a college student or a high school student 16 years or older who is dually enrolled in a college program. The internship grant pays for the wages and employment cost of an intern for a 200-hour internship at $12 per hour. Past intern projects span from developing websites and social media campaigns to finance data analysis to GIS work.
