SHARE Newsletter

The SHARE issue for March is now available. Previous issues can be accessed by visiting the LGRMS website. In addition to the newsletter, LGRMS is hosting a series of online Safety Coordinator workshops over the next two months. Details about the sessions can be found below.

Virtual Safety Coordinator Session 2 (1 hr session):

This one-hour session will be broken down into two parts. Part 1 of this session, participants will be provided with the working knowledge to perform an accident/incident investigation by understanding the need for investigations, determining the causes of accidents, and identifying prevention methods.

Part 2 of this session, participants will use the knowledge gained in Part 1 to successfully complete a Job Hazard Analysis to identify and reduce the risk(s) of a specific job or task(s).

Virtual Safety Coordinator Session 3 (1 hr session):

This one-hour session will be broken down into two parts.

Part 1 of this session, participants will gain an awareness of proper vehicle safety, whose driving and should they be, and what should we do about when things go wrong.

Part 2 of this session, participants will gain an understanding on how to develop a Safety Action Plan to meet the requirements of the ACCG Safety Discount Program and GMA Safety Grant.
