Redistricting Resources for County Governments

The US Census Bureau released redistricting data compiled from the 2020 Census on August 12, 2021. This data can be used to draw maps for county commission districts and provides information on the demographic composition of the state and each county. The Legislative and Congressional Reapportionment Office has county and city population sets and redistricting resources available through their website. Additional resources that help explain and visualize redistricting data is available through the US Census website. ACCG held a Local Redistricting Webinar in July that provides details on how counties can best prepare for redistricting.
