ACCG WORKERS’ COMPENSATION FUND RETURNS CASH DIVIDEND

The ACCG – Group Self-Insurance Workers’ Compensation Fund (ACCG-GSIWCF) Board of Trustees voted August 25, 2023, to return $5 million in the form of cash dividends to eligible members early in 2024. Due to better-than-expected loss experience and investment results, undesignated surplus has grown to a level that enables a portion to be returned to the membership.
Dividends will be returned to those members that joined the Fund in 2015 or earlier and maintain continuous membership through the date the dividend is distributed. (The dividends will come from policy years 2013, 2014 and 2015.) This is actual cash back to the members and different from the contribution credit that will be applied to the 2024 contributions.
