2024 Georgia County Internship Program Grant Applications Available in early October.
The ACCG Civic Affairs Foundation will begin seeking county applications for the 2024 Georgia County Internship Program (GCIP) in early October. Each year, the Foundation solicits grant applications from county government to fund county internships in a variety of disciplines. To date, over 525 internships in more than 90 counties have been funded through this program.
Applications will be sent to county chairs, clerks, managers, and prior program participants via email and also will be available through the Foundation website at http://www.accg.org/caf_index.php. Increased hourly funding for 2024 will be available as a well as a special opportunity for rural counties to participate thanks to a generous grant from the Verizon Foundation.
The deadline to submit applications for the 2024 grant program will be Monday, December 18, 2023.
