Alex will assist the legal team by reviewing, writing, and updating numerous publications and helping to develop policies and procedures for ACCG.

Ellie Loventhal is a Master of International Policy student at the University of Georgia, where she received her bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Sociology in May 2024. She served as an Ambassador for the School of Public and International Affairs for two years. In the last year of her bachelor's program, she completed a research project on the United States' implementation of United Nation initiatives, presenting this research at UGA's Center for Undergraduate Research Symposium. After completing her master’s degree, Loventhal hopes to continue to conduct research on policy implementation. Colin Marcum is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management at Emory University. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama, where he double-majored in Operations Management and Political Science. Marcum's academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of public health policy and governmental affairs. With a strong foundation in operations and political science, he is passionate about developing and implementing policies that enhance public health systems and outcomes. Eager to bridge the gap between health policy and government operations, Marcum is dedicated to contributing to initiatives that promote health equity and improve the overall well-being of Georgia communities.

Alex Klein was born in Brooklyn, New York, and received a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Syracuse University. He is a rising third-year law student at the University of Georgia School of Law, where he is on the Journal of Intellectual Property and served as the vice president of the Jewish Law Students Association. Klein is interested in the intersection of policy, politics, and the law. Before attending law school, Klein interned for Sen. Cory Booker and Congressman Tom McClintock, experiences which initially sparked his interest in policy. His time working at the University of Georgia’s First Amendment Clinic strengthened his enthusiasm for civil rights and constitutional law, and upon graduation he hopes to be in a position to work on impact litigation cases to expand the rights of Americans. In his free time, Klein enjoys watching movies, playing trivia and pickleball, and spending time with his cat Furia.
