ACCG Welcomes Spring Interns
ACCG welcomes spring semester interns Zoe Ryan, Saferino Dour, and Kamryn Wham. The all-UGA intern squad will assist the policy and research staff and the law department with special projects, bill analysis, general and local bill tracking, survey collection, and research during the 2025 legislative session. The interns will also assist in the update of guidebooks, databases, county resources, and nonlegislative projects.

Zoe Ryan is a second-year law student, also pursuing a certification in Education Law & Policy. She is originally from Philadelphia and graduated from Rollins College in Orlando, Florida in 2019. She currently serves on the Editorial Board for the Georgia Law Review and as the Vice President of the Georgia Law Mental Health Alliance. Ryan has previously interned at Georgia Legal Services Program, where she developed her love of legal research and writing. When she is not studying, Ryan enjoys cooking, reading non-legal books, Disney World (where she used to work), and spending time with her wife and their two dogs, Luna and Eva.

Saferino Dour is a graduate student at the University of Georgia’s Master of Public Administration program, having received his B.A. in Political Science from Fort Valley State University. He has experience at various levels of government through his previous internships at the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan as an Assistant Immigration Attache and at Fort Valley State University’s Head Start Program as a Policy Analyst. Saferino is a former Division I volleyball athlete and fills his free time playing for UGA’s Club Volleyball team. He is passionate about empowering others through the political process and looks forward to a career in local or state government upon graduation.

Kamryn Wham is a senior at the University of Georgia pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with an emphasis in Business Analytics and Public Policy and is set to graduate in May. During her academic career, she worked as a peer tutor at the University’s Writing Center and completed an accounting internship with a construction company. In her free time, Kamryn enjoys reading, writing, and caring for her rescue dog. Her passion for public policy was sparked during an ongoing undergraduate research project examining Atlanta’s transportation system, which deepened her commitment to addressing key issues in her home state. With a strong emphasis on public policy and a dedication to making a meaningful impact, she intends to pursue a career in state or local government in Georgia after graduating.
