ACCG Worker's Compensation Fund now offers the Employee Safety Grant Program to provide financial assistance for members interested in reducing employee injuries. These grants can be used to fund additional training, equipment or services. Funding opportunites such as these grants is just one of many reasons to consider becoming a member of the ACCG Workers' Compensation Fund. 

While the Hotel-Motel Tax has helped local governments raise revenue, it can be a very difficult law to understand. To help counties gain a better understanding of the rules and terms to this law, ACCG has drafted a brief overview on the fundamentals your county should know.

Counties awarded funding through the Georgia County Internship Program (GCIP) are afforded the opportunity to provide internships in county government to undergraduate and graduate level college students. This year alone, the ACCG Civic Affairs Foundation has awarded 40 internship grants to 26 counties across the state. GDOT's Call for Transportation Alternative Projects is now open. Funding through this program allows local governments to pursue non-traditional transportation related activities such as pedestrian facilities, bicycle facilities, and pedestrian streetscaping projects.
