The best way to make sure that your county will have the most accurate count is to create a local complete count committee (LCCC) to ensure that all residents in your county are motivated and educated about the importance of participating in the census. Ethan Miller, an information systems student at Georgia Southern University, spent his summer interning with Rockdale County's Information Technology department. The Georgia Smart Communities Challenge Application Deadline is quickly approaching. If your community is interested in receiving grant funding, sponsored research, and additional assistance in Smart Community planning in the topics areas of mobility, equity, and resilience, it is not too late to apply for this year's opportunity!
