Your input is needed. Participate in two brief surveys to aid the University of Georgia (UGA) in gathering data on water management concerns and cybersecurity challenges in Georgia counties. 
  
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is now accepting applications for the Local Road Assistance Administration (LRA) funds. LRA funds do not require a match and will be dispersed to address local infrastructure needs. 
  
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) recently announced the selection of the 2024-2025 Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program “Conserve Georgia” grants for conservation and outdoor recreation projects. Of the 12 selected projects, two are counties.
  
The Georgia Forestry Commission urges extreme caution when using fire outdoors due to the significant fire potential in April. Escaped debris burning remains the primary cause of wildfires, which are becoming more difficult to contain.
  
The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) has released the draft Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program. Your input is needed on the Action Plan to help shape how disaster recovery dollars are invested in Georgia communities.
