Recently, the ACCG Workers’ Compensation Fund (ACCG-GSIWCF) delivered checks totaling $4 million to eligible fund members as a result of the discontinuance of a mandatory state program designed to encourage employers to rehire injured and disabled workers. 
  
The ACCG LIfelong Learning Academy (LLA) has four specialty courses open for registration on March 18 and 19. Seats are quickly filling up! Be sure to contact your county clerk to get registered today.
  
Twenty-five internships were selected to receive grant funding from the ACCG Civic Affairs Foundation for the summer of 2021. These grants will provide internship opportunities in GIS, law, public administration, and other county departments in 17 counties throughout the state.  
  
Did you know that you can keep track of your ACCG Lifelong Learning Academy (LLA) training record through the ACCG Dashboard? Regularly monitor your progress to ensure you're on track to receive your CORE and/or Specialty Certifications.

EMS organizations planning on applying for a Rural EMS Training Grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Center for Substance Abuse Treatment must submit applications by March 18.

Due to Gov. Kemp's Public Health State of Emergency extension, a 90-day extension has been placed on both FY20 Audit Report and the Report of Local Government Finances (RLGF) submissions for all county governments with a fiscal year end date of December 31. The new deadline to complete both reports is September 30.
