The West Georgia Winegrape Symposium will take place on Saturday, July 30 at the Carroll County Cooperative Extension AG Center. The planting of the varieties featured in the symposium opens up the whole South to quality wine grapes that can stand the heat, humidity and disease pressures of our area. This initiative greatly expands the winegrape industry in the state, from just being in a few counties, to putting all 159 counties in play as possible producers of this growing agriculture commodity.
