The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) recently introduced a new discretionary grant program called the Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) program. Georgia Department of Agriculture Commissioner Gary W. Black recently announced the issuance of $425,000 in grants to assist with spaying and neutering Georgia's companion animals. Applications must be submitted by May 31, 2018.
