A giant barge, identified in media reports as operated by Alaska Marine Lines, broke loose in Seattle  and made contact with Pier 66, despite efforts by a King County Water Taxi, the Doc Maynard, to intercept it. The incident was caught on some spectacular video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, by Jackson Teal.

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management gave the 2.6-GW Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind, or CVOW, project a green light on Tuesday. The project will be built 23.5 miles off the coast of Virginia Beach by Dominion Energy.

This year the ADCI will award 2 Scholarships at $4,000.00 each.
 
Eligibility
This ADCI Scholarship is open to members of the community of all ADCI voting member companies who are current and in good standing with ADCI, with the exception of officers and/or directors of the ADCI Board of Directors or their immediate families. This award is available for any institution of higher learning after high school including universities, colleges, junior colleges, vocational training schools and trade schools.
