Dr Richard Coates, who works at award-winning Riveredge Cosmetic Dentistry, is himself a scuba diver who has seen many cases of barodontalgia - pain in the teeth caused by being underwater. Now he is encouraging divers to check they don't have poorly executed fillings or cavities, to avoid the possibility of problems when they dive.

Oceaneering has been awarded a technology development contract by Statoil. The contract provides for the development, manufacturing, testing, and mobilization of a self-contained, battery-powered work class remotely operated vehicle (E-ROV) system deployed on the seabed.

RJE International introduces the new and improved lightweight military DG-100 Digital Depth Gauge to their line of diver navigation products. The DG-100 measures and displays depth up to 330 feet/100 meters using a state-of-the-art pressure transducer. The timer functions automatically track dive and surface times, and user-adjustable brightness settings of the OLED display aids in poor visibility conditions. A built-in stopwatch allows tracking of leg times, independent from dive or surface times.
