President's Message — Liz's Letter
Dear AHVAP Members and Affiliates,
What happened to the Summer?!? August is here, and it is time for the back-to-school frenzy. I hope that you and your teams celebrated Value Analysis week last month, and you had a chance to listen to the incredible webinars. If you missed them, don’t worry! You can access them all on the www.AHVAP.org website under Resources- Healthcare Value Analysis Academy. You can apply these professional development sessions toward your CVAHP certification renewal.
AHVAP is the only national organization that evolved through Value Analysis colleagues who set out with a mission to guide the development and growth of other Value Analysis professionals.
Today, AHVAP has evolved to over 400 members and continues its mission in providing and promoting processes and information to assist Value Analysis Professionals in evaluating healthcare services for clinical quality, best outcomes, improving the patient experience, and cost effectiveness. AHVAP’s creative, educational, and developmental programs are established through dedicated and resourceful voluntary professional members and affiliates who continue to carry out AHVAP’s vision to members, affiliates, and the healthcare community. AHVAP is here to support your Value Analysis program and bring together peer to peer interaction, supplier and member collaboration, a wealth of knowledge exchange in current and future trends, educational programs structured from the Value Analysis foundational pillars (Governance & Structure, Methodology, Professionalism & Business Ethics, and Finance), and to bring together the expertise of clinical and business professionals.
The Region Directors have been busy hosting networking meetings and huddles. It is exciting to see the districts and regions coming together in value sharing ideas, documents and best practices. The Podcast Series and Webinars are back next month, so be on the lookout for those upcoming registrations. Thank you for all the AHVAP committee work being performed by these members. We appreciate your dedication, commitment, and continued support of AHVAP.
