Message from AHVAP Treasurer

January has been an inspiring and productive month for AHVAP, and it has also been one filled with uncertainty. If you have followed along our journey, it is no secret that we have undergone a significant transformation. With such reformation, there are inevitably a few accompanying feelings: hesitation and apprehension. Did we make the right decisions along the way? Is this the appropriate course? Will our members support the change and continue their journey with us? It can be daunting and likened to swimming upstream in the dark. However, with each new day, there are resounding affirmations that we are, indeed, on the right path. This month, AHVAP held a highly successful collaboration with AORN, implemented the new committee selection process, released the new digital badge for certified members, announced the creation of our new Certification Board, and announced the opening of our early bird registration for AHVAP’s Annual Conference. While this list is not all-inclusive, our members have met each of these offerings with open arms and great enthusiasm. Our social media followers continue to increase along with our membership count. This positivity has given us the validation we were hoping to have. As we move forward together, AHVAP will continue to provide a place to learn, connect and support your value analysis journey.
