Attention AHVAP Central Region Members

Dear AHVAP Central Members and Partners:

I wanted to make you aware that Terri Nelson notified me this past weekend that she was resigning from the AHVAP Board of Directors due to increased work responsibilities that prevented her from fully executing her duties as a Board Member. I have acknowledged her resignation with my sincere appreciation of her Board Service to AHVAP and our members.

In the meantime, and per the organizational bylaws, I will appoint an interim replacement to fill her vacated position. I am currently working with Karen as our President-Elect to identify the most suitable candidate for the position and ensure that they can bring the needed skillset to our Association’s Strategic Plan. This individual, once appointed, will complete Terri’s term of office that ends in December 2024. We will host the August monthly meeting 30 minutes earlier beginning at noon ET, and this meeting will be facilitated by AHVAP's President-Elect, Karen Niven. As soon as I have decided on my appointment to fill the interim Regional Director role, I will provide another update to the region.
