AHVAP Launches New Position Statement on the Competencies of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals

As we wrap up our 2023 Annual Conference and Industry Partner Expo, I am excited to share an exciting new Position Statement with you that is now available for both AHVAP members and the general public: Competencies and Ideal Qualifications of a Healthcare Value Analysis Professional. This newly developed and released document was designed to help define the core competencies for healthcare value analysis professionals. We recommend that you broadly share this new document with your leadership team, human resources department, recruiting staff, and other internal stakeholders to educate them about our specialty. If you are not already board certified in healthcare value analysis, now is the time to seek your CVAHP™ certification and the AHVAP Certification Center's new micro-certifications. 

I would like to thank the efforts of the committee members who contributed to this position statement and are listed below. This highly skilled group of experts from across our membership has rigorously worked on the creation and editing of this document over the last month. This is a Position Statement that all AHVAP members and healthcare value analysis professionals should be proud of!
