About Jeremy:
Jeremy Gibson-Roark’s desire to have an impact on national healthcare issues led him to a career with DNV Healthcare. Before joining DNV Healthcare, he was a Director of a large Surgical Services division with surgeries in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecological Surgery, Urology and Cardiothoracic Surgery. He has worked in Surgical Services and Orthopedics his entire nursing career. During his tenure as a Surgical Services leader, Jeremy worked to improve processes and efficiencies in Surgical Services including Sterile Processing. He and his team worked in Sterile Processing to improve instrument turnover efficiencies, reduction of immediate use steam sterilization to below 1%, and increase resource allocation.
Today, Jeremy currently works as a Program Manager, Team Lead, and Clinical Surveyor in Healthcare Training and Education. He is also working with the Certification Team on Hip and Knee Total Joint Certification, Shoulder Certification, Spine Certification, and Certification in Infection Prevention and Control in healthcare facilities and in maritime environments. He has developed and initiated the first certification program for Sterile Processing Departments in the hospital.
Jeremy’s successful career is supported by a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is certified in Infection Prevention and Control from CBIC, a Certified Operating Room Nurse from AORN and a Certified Surgical Services Manager from AORN. He serves as a member of the AAMI Working Group 40 focused on steam sterilization in the hospital setting and Working Group 84 focused on flexible endoscope processing.

This webinar is accredited for 1.5 hours of continuing nursing education credits by the California Board of Registered Nurses. This webinar is accredited for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for those individuals holding the Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHP™) designation.
