About Dr. Carrico:

Ruth Carrico, PhD, DNP, FNP-C, CIC, FSHEA, FNAP, FAAN (Adjunct Professor of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases @University of Louisville School of Medicine)

Dr. Ruth Carrico is a senior consultant with Carrico & Ramirez, PLLC focused on infectious diseases, infection prevention and control, and vaccinology. She is also a Professor and Family Nurse Practitioner, gratis faculty, with the University of Louisville School Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases. Dr. Carrico has received training specific for healthcare epidemiology at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in conjunction with the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA). Her educational background includes a PhD in Management, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and a post-Master Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner certification. She is board certified in Infection Prevention and as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner.

This webinar is accredited for 1.5 hours of continuing nursing education credits by the California Board of Registered Nurses. This webinar is accredited for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for those individuals holding the Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHPTM) designation.
