  • Strengthened Advocacy Initiatives: Our commitment to advocating for the value analysis profession has never been stronger. This year, we aim to amplify our voice and influence policy discussions that impact our work and the healthcare industry. This will be accomplished through our outreach efforts, and also the publication of new position statements that clearly demonstrate the powerful role of our specialty in solving the most complex challenges facing healthcare both today and in the future. We encourage you to review our new position statements that were published in 2023 if you have not already done so.
  • Member-Centric Initiatives: We are launching new member-centric initiatives that will provide you with tailored support, recognizing the diverse needs and talents within our community. This will include a value analysis leader toolkit complete with tools and resources to manage new and seasoned healthcare value analysis professionals alike. We will continue to add even more member benefits throughout 2024 and beyond.
  • Sustainability in Healthcare: In line with global efforts, AHVAP will take a leading role in promoting sustainability in healthcare value analysis, ensuring that our practices contribute positively to the health of our planet. This will include new position statements and education designed to empower our profession to make objective and educated decisions regarding this complex topical area.
  • Global Outreach and Partnerships: This year, we will extend our collaboration with other clinical partner organizations such as AORN, fostering a global exchange of ideas and practices. This collaborative approach will enable AHVAP to reach new heights and elevate the specialty of healthcare value analysis.

As we embrace the potential of this new year, we encourage you to take full advantage of the opportunities that AHVAP offers. Your active participation is the key to our collective success, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
