 CVAHP™ Scholarship Program Is Now Open

The AHVAP Certification Center is pleased to announce the new Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHP™) Scholarship Fund, which is available to any healthcare value analysis professional in need. This scholarship was made possible by the generous donations of the entire Board of Directors of both the AHVAP Certification Center AND the Association of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals.

This special scholarship fund, which raised $7,800, was made possible by the generous personal donations of the following Value Analysis Leaders and organizations:

Scholarship Information

This scholarship is designed for serious applicants who are fully dedicated to successfully earning their Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional designation. 

The scholarship fund will provide up to 26 recipients with the opportunity to sit for initial CVAHP™ certification. Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-service basis, and decisions will be made on a rolling basis. 

Important Scholarship Criteria:

Applicants must agree to ALL of the below scholarship requirements. 

• Applicants MUST have a demonstrated financial need and have their employer complete the attestation form stating that their employer will not cover the costs of the certification examination
• The scholarship is for first time CVAHP Certification applications only and may not be used for recertification or retesting 
• Applicants must fully complete the required scholarship application and provide the necessary supporting documentation
• Scholarship awards may only be used once by each individual
• Scholarship recipients will receive complimentary access to the online CVAHP review course (available 24/7) or a discount to attend the in-person review course at the 2024 AHVAP Annual Conference and Industry Partner Expo on September 9. Scholarship recipients must complete one of the two preparation classes to assist with exam preparation. 
• Individuals who do not pass the certification examination must repay the scholarship to the AHVAP Certification Center within 30 days of the unsuccessful exam attempt
• Scholarship recipients have six months to take the certification examination successfully and pass the exam from the date of scholarship approval 

The scholarship application for 2024 is now open. Incomplete applications will be rejected. You must follow the instructions in the application completely. 

Please download the Scholarship Attestation Form below, which must be signed by your supervisor and yourself. Please read this attestation carefully prior to submitting it as you are legally responsible for this document. This is the only form that can be used and submitted for the scholarship application.
