AHVAP is excited to announce the 2023 Recipient of the Brooke Berson Award: Karen Niven, MS, BSN, RN, CVAHP, FAHCDM, FAHVAP. Karen serves as the Senior Director of Clinical Value Analysis for Premier, Inc. and is also the President-Elect of AHVAP. 

The Brooke Berson Award is a prestigious accolade named in honor of Brooke Berson, a trailblazer and visionary in the field of healthcare value analysis as well as a Founding member of AHVAP. Brooke Berson's pioneering spirit and tireless dedication to improving healthcare value have left an indelible mark on the industry. This award pays tribute to her legacy by celebrating professionals who share her passion for advancing the principles and practices of healthcare value analysis.

The award's primary purpose is to recognize and celebrate individuals who have made exemplary contributions to healthcare value analysis, both within the Association of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals and the broader healthcare community. It serves as a testament to the importance of collaborative efforts, innovation, and leadership in driving positive change and optimizing patient care outcomes.
