AHVAP and GHX Partner to Present Key Survey Findings on the Healthcare Value Analysis Specialty at the 2023 Institute for Healthcare Improvement Annual Forum

In December, AHVAP experienced another "first" as part of our five-year strategic plan. This was a deliberate outreach activity to continue to foster collaboration between healthcare value analysis leaders and the entire healthcare profession. For the past three days, AHVAP and GHX have jointly presented a poster presentation at the 2023 Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Annual Forum Conference in Orlando, Florida. Attendees at this event hailed from over 63 countries and ranged from Chief Executive Officers to Vice Presidents of Quality and Patient Safety from across the entire healthcare continuum. 

The poster, Healthcare Value Analysis Trends: Key Insights from the National Survey Drives Industry Change, was developed in partnership with our Industry Partners at GHX. We are honored that AHVAP Member and former AHVAP Board Member, Suzanne Smith, from GHX co-presented this poster with AHVAP. It is these types of Industry Partnerships that help us advance healthcare and improve the lives of our patients that we are charged with serving.

This is the first time that AHVAP has been present at the IHI Annual Forum, but it certainly won't be the last. As part of our renewed five-year Strategic Plan, we will continue to expand our reach and partnerships to showcase the immense value that healthcare value analysis leaders and professionals bring to the healthcare continuum each and every day!
