Panel OKs tearing down Downtown building for condos

Real estate developers are moving forward with plans to add more than 60 luxury condominiums in Downtown Cincinnati after a Monday vote from the city's historic preservation panel.
The city Historic Conservation Board approved a certificate of appropriateness to demolish 719-721 Main St., which developers deemed a critical step to launching a more than $50 million project to yield two new 14-story buildings along the streetcar line. Hyde Park-based Greiwe Development Group is working with Terrex Development & Construction, North American Properties and Sibcy Cline on the project. (Cincinnati Enquirer)
