The region’s largest locally based construction firm is ready to begin building a corporate headquarters in Cincinnati’s West End neighborhood. Messer Construction Co. plans to spend about $12.5 million to develop a new campus at 643 W. Court St., between the St. Ann’s Commons residential development and the Queensgate playfield. The Indianapolis-based firm that led the redevelopment of Downtown’s 580 Building is working to buy the Second National Bank Building, an executive from the company said Friday. Anderson Birkla Investment Partners principal Anthony Birkla said his firm has a purchase contract on the historic building at 830 Main St. along Cincinnati’s streetcar line. (Cincinnati Enquirer)

Prepare Affair is an annual event that helps low-income seniors and people with disabilities make winter preparations and stay safely in their homes. We are looking to put an ACI-YP crew together that would be willing to dedicate a small amount of time to help make a big difference for someone in need. Join us on Saturday November 12th from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. More details to come on project specifics. Be sure to select "Geoff Ryan – ACI YP" as your crew leader.
