Continental Welcomes New Marketing Associates

Oshkosh, Wis.—Continental Girbau Inc. (Continental) recently strengthened its marketing department with the addition of Graphic Designer Carissa Derge (left) and Web and Multimedia Designer Matthew Liefke (right).

Derge, of Oshkosh, orchestrates a number of design functions within Continental’s marketing department. She joined Continental with three years of professional marketing and design experience and most recently served as marketing coordinator at the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts, in Fond du Lac, Wis. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Graphic Design/Photography degree from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2013.

In her new role at Continental, Derge is charged with “creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate Continental consumers.” Her many responsibilities include the development of advertisements, sales tools, brochures, logos and newsletters. “I enjoy Continental’s family style atmosphere,” she said. “I am excited about joining the creative team here and look forward to learning even more about laundry systems.”

As web and multimedia designer, Liefke assists in the production and editing of multimedia communications, including video, websites and interactive content. In doing so, he works closely with customers, distributors and Continental team members. Liefke has studied computer science and psychology at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. “What I enjoy about Continental is how everybody is treated like family,” he said. “Everybody knows your name and always has a smile.”
