Last week, we hosted our first two virtual member roundtables, sparking vibrant discussions and fostering meaningful connections among members. These small group sessions provided an invaluable platform for sharing successes, exploring opportunities, and collaboratively solving challenges.

The roundtables' open discussion format encouraged attendees to voice any issues, challenges, or topics of interest, including questions about ALM. A significant focus in both sessions was the ongoing issue of linen loss. Other lively discussions covered staffing challenges, particularly in engineering and top leadership roles, the integration of AI in laundries, and the benefits of linen tracking software.

Tina Alexander, CLLM and Laundry Manager at Kalix in Minot, North Dakota, shared her experience: "Today’s meeting was very informational, and I took a lot away from it. It was great to hear some different ideas and what other people are struggling with. I think this is a great source for people to communicate.”

Make plans to be part of our next scheduled roundtables:

September 3, 2024, 2-4 PM ET: Laundry Operations Roundtable
September 5, 2024, 2-4 PM ET: Linen Management Roundtable

Stay tuned for more focused roundtables targeting specific segments, including hospitality and correctional facilities. Mark your calendars and join us for these insightful discussions!
