Call for Presentations by the Association for Linen Management

We invite members to submit proposals for educational presentations for its 2025 Webinar Series, the 2025 Clean Show, and a new event scheduled for March 2025. This call for presentations is open to all members, including vendors, laundry operators, linen distribution professionals, infection preventionists, and consumers of linen.

Guidelines for Presenters

ALM’s educational programs aim to deliver valuable insights to industry professionals. Presenters are expected to share their expertise while adhering to guidelines that limit the promotion of vendor products. Presenters at in-person events will be responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses but may receive discounted or complimentary registration fees.

Education Program Goals

The goals for the 2025 education program include sessions on operational improvement, innovation, leadership, benchmark metrics, linen management practices, problem-solving approaches, labor management, and emerging industry issues. Presentations should provide actionable insights and practical knowledge to enhance professional practices within the linen management industry.

Selection Criteria

ALM seeks a diverse pool of quality speakers. Proposals will be evaluated based on how well the topic meets the needs identified by the Education Committee or Board of Directors and the presenter’s speaking experience. Presentations that actively engage the audience will be prioritized. ALM may also consider non-member speakers and repeat topics to ensure the best educational value for attendees.

Proposal Requirements

For more information about submitting a proposal, view the proposal guidelines. Proposals should be submitted to Caitlin Paddack, Education and Membership Coordinator, at cpaddack@almnet.org by June 30, 2024. Selected presenters will be notified by August 31, 2024. For questions, contact 859-624-0177.
