As a member of ALM, you are in the company of a vast network of diverse experiences, backgrounds, and incredibly smart colleagues. Take advantage of the ALM Community by building and expanding your network through connecting with other members. While you're there, share about yourself to allow like-minded professionals to find you!
The member directory is available on ALM's website, ALMnet.org, by logging in. If you're already logged in, click on "My Profile” in the upper right corner, then click on "Directory” in the menu bar. You can search for individuals by name, employer, or location. Through the search, you can find all ALM members in your geographical area, or who work for a particular company.
Learn more about members by clicking on their name and clicking "Connect” to add them to your network, or messaging them directly through the ALM site or by their listed contact information.
Don't forget to beef up your own profile! You can edit your contact information, as well as add a headshot to help others remember your name and face. For our vendor members, be sure to pay attention to the photo albums option! You can upload any photos of supplies or equipment you offer to share with other members. We’d love to see pictures of your equipment, your plant, your awesome coworkers, and your products!
If you are a laundry operator or linen manager in need of new products, equipment, or services, you can also navigate to the Vendor/Product Search on the main ALM site under Resources. This focused directory allows you to search by product/service offering. Vendors, make sure you are appearing in the searches that match the products you represent. If you aren’t, that means you need to update your company profile to include those items. This information is also what is used for the Buyer’s Guide, which appears in the Winter issue of fresh Magazine each year.
