The ALM community boasts a vast network of laundry and linen professionals with varying levels of experience in both tenure and in operational management. The online member forums provide an avenue to connect with others in member community to share ideas and information, discuss trends, and most importantly, seek advice and information on operational issues. It’s almost certain that any challenges experienced by one laundry have been faced and potentially overcome by another, and learning from others could save you significant time troubleshooting with a more direct path to resolution. Being active on the forums is also a great way to showcase your expertise in the industry.

The forums are accessed by logging into ALMnet.org and can be found on the Resources menu. Once inside, you can set your subscription preferences to receive instant updates via e-mail each time a post is made, or you can opt for the digest format to have forums posts grouped and sent to you daily.

Washable Linen Bags

 My maintenance department requested we wash our reusable microfiber cloths in bags as they feel they are clogging the washing machines. We have tried several different commercial bags however they keep ripping apart during the wash cycle and the rags escape. I was wondering if anyone else uses reusable linen bags that actually stay together during a wash cycle?
