The Association for Linen Management (ALM) sold out their 2023 IMPACT Conference, held last week in Charleston, South Carolina, exceeding pre-pandemic attendance levels! This rapid event recovery reflects IMPACT’s reputation for high-level education in an intimate environment, which is ripe with opportunity for business development, problem solving, and strategic thinking.

Recognizing the value and need to help educate newcomers to the industry, the Association for Linen Management (ALM) created ALM Quick Start. This online eLearning opportunity allows incoming textile care industry professionals to quickly and effectively gain a consistent industry framework. UNX-Christeyns recently joined ALM in supporting the program as part of their ongoing efforts to provide the best possible resources for the betterment of the industry.

The Clean Show, North America’s largest dry cleaning, laundering, and textile care exposition, is excited to announce its 2025 show dates. This four-day event will take place August 23 – 26, 2025, at the Orange County Convention Center in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida.

Applications are now being accepted for the TCATA College Scholarship. Students interested in pursuing a degree at any accredited U.S. college or university on a full-time basis are eligible to apply. Applicants must be a full-time employee, child, or grandchild of a member company in good standing of TCATA. Also, the employee must be employed by the sponsoring member company for over one year.

After one year of operation, Gurtler Logistics has been an unqualified success. The new unit has enhanced customer service, improved on-time delivery, and provided more flexibility in scheduling. In addition, Gurtler drivers are trained and certified in hazardous materials handling and safety, assuring that bulk chemicals are safely off-loaded, and packaged goods are safely handled and delivered.
