AMCI Annual Meeting Lessons Learned

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

We heard from "experts in their field" about ways to improve specific parts of our businesses and the service we deliver to our clients; we listened to metrics and benchmarks to improve our operations and profitability, and we listened to panels of our peers discuss candidly how they are handling challenging situations within their AMCs.

The other important component of the meeting took place in the hallways and at the receptions, where we asked each other how we are doing things, what changes we have planned for the future, and what trends we are seeing in the association management community. By asking each other these questions and articulating our responses to them, we are growing as businesspeople and raising the bar for one another. Let’s challenge ourselves to ask each other these questions and to work on developing these special relationships that truly make the AMC Institute a catalyst for change and growth.
