The changes to the standard includes:
•2.5.2: Addition of a footnote to clarify public review requirements.
•3.1: Addition of text to require that ANSI-accredited standards developers encourage disclosure of essential patent claims.
•4.1, 4.1.1: Addition of text to clarify that an applicant for accreditation by ANSI as a standards developer is required to be
incorporated, registered or otherwise recognized as a legal entity.
