Remembrance Day is a time when we honour the Canadians who fought for the values and freedoms of all people and sacrificed their lives in military service in all the wars and conflicts around the globe. These Canadians weren’t just soldiers — they were sons, daughters, husbands, fathers, wives and mothers.
On November 11th, the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, I hope you will pause with us and millions of other Canadians across Canada and around the world to honour the memory of the thousands of men and women who sacrificed their lives in military service.
It only takes a moment to say thank you.
