DigSafe Ambassadors Hit the Road

With Spring just around the corner, the DigSafe Ambassadors are gearing up for another season of cruising around the Calgary and Edmonton areas.

The Ambassadors have extensive damage prevention and safety knowledge and are eager to raise awareness about working safely near underground and overhead energy and utility assets to protect workers and prevent damages to these critical assets.

Throughout the digging season, the Ambassadors engage with those directly or indirectly involved in ground disturbance by:

• Visiting construction sites to talk about damage prevention and best practices
• Visiting equipment rental and landscaping companies to spread awareness about the need to Click Before You Dig
• Encouraging engagement in Utility Safety Partner working committees
• Distributing promotional items to be shared with construction crews and the community
• And more!
