Exciting news from the accounting department at USP! The budget for 2025 has been approved by the board of directors and with that the annual membership fee for 2025 was created, confirmed, and emailed to our members for their 2025 budgeting purposes.
Approved Budget for 2025
The approved budget of $4.7 million for 2025 is designed to support new strategic initiatives, such as development of a Lookup and Live Application for Alberta, expanding our Dig Safe Ambassador program, and enhancing of USP’s GIS Mapping system. It represents a significant investment in our future, aiming to bolster our capacity to serve our members effectively and achieve our organizational goals.
Annual Membership Fee for 2025
In alignment with the approved, budget the annual membership fee for 2025 has now been calculated. Individual letters have been sent to all members to let them know what their fees will be for 2025. If you have not received your letter, please reach out to us and we can send you a copy.
The annual membership fee (AMF) structure is unique in its design. Using historical volumes combined with a risk/consequence matrix the AMF creates a fair and reflective value to each of our members, while also ensuring the costs for USP and its growth are covered.
