President Donald Trump outlined five principles he wants to see enacted for healthcare reform during a speech to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday evening.
 
CMS is giving physicians, group practices, qualified registries, and qualified vendors until March 13, 2017, to submit EHR date for the 2016 PRQS reporting period.

A group of provider organizations and state medical societies led by the American Medical Association has asked federal health officials to delay 2015 EHR certification requirements at least one year to avoid disrupting physician practices.

A paper published in Cell has taken the scientific world by storm.
 
An intervention that included standardized communication, standardized rounding and monthly feedback was associated with an improvement in patients’ perception of physician communication as measured by the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey, according to a recently published study in the American Journal of Medical Quality.
