As we begin this New Year, I wanted to reach out to see how AATA can help you advance your career or expand your learning opportunities. At AATA, our goal is to support our members throughout their career journey. If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll renew your AATA membership and take advantage of our ever expanding members-only offerings. Looking ahead to 2025, here are some upcoming programs I’m excited to be a part of:
- *Updated* MentorMatch program, which helps professionals find seasoned mentors (re-launching in early 2025
- *Updated* Art Therapist Locator tool designed to help grow your practice
- Registration discounts on the AATA2025 in-person and virtual conferences, plus a special discount on the monthly virtual learning sessions, including Preventive Art Therapy: The Ethical Intersection of Art Therapy and Public Health on January 28.
- *NEW* opportunities in MyAATA for Art Therapist Supervisors to connect with potential supervisees.
- More art supply discounts, including Faber Castell and Grabie, and special liability insurance options.
And, as always, AATA members have unlimited access to every issue of the Art Therapy Journal, registration discounts on virtual Continuing Education sessions, and opportunities to connect with art therapists and students from around the world through the MyAATA community and during six virtual All-Member Meetings.
To Renew: Log In to your MyAATA profile and click on “Renew”. If you don’t see a renew button, then click on “Become a Member” and follow the prompts. You will be able to lock in a one- or two-year membership.
