AATA News

Join us in Pittsburgh, PA, for our 55th Annual Conference, Oct. 6 - 9, 2024! At AATA2024, you can obtain up to 130 CE credits and participate in more networking opportunities, including more mini-workshops at the Open Art Studio and more SIG meetings, than ever before. But act fast — already, seven workshops have filled up!

Whether you are a longtime professional looking to collaborate, or new to the profession and seeking mentorship or resources, you belong at AATA2024.
Each May during Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we pay tribute to the generations of Asian and Pacific Islander Americans who have enriched America's history and continue to propel every facet of our society today. Visit the Smithsonian’s virtual collection, We Are Here: 30 Inspiring Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Who Have Shaped the United States. Also take a look at the artwork presented in the National Gallery of Art’s Centering Asian Artists in the American Story.
We also want to celebrate the commitment and contributions by our AAPI members to the field of art therapy and our association. We’re proud to share with you these AAPI Featured Member profiles here – and we hope you’ll share them with your networks and on social media too.
