Congratulations to the Montgomery County Public Schools Purchasing Team!

Barbara Regalia, Senior Buyer, Laly Bowers, Buyer, Kathy Egan, Business Services Analyst, and Janine Lowe, Buyer, have been recertified, and are among seven Montgomery County Public School professionals who have successfully completed the Certified Professional Public Buyers (CPPB) examination. Established in 1964, this certification is an outstanding honor for individuals employed in the public purchasing profession. To become certified, candidates must demonstrate that they meet specific fundamentals established by Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council (UPPCC), including formal education, procurement related coursework/training, public purchasing experience and functional buying experience. A comprehensive written examination is required to confirm the candidate's knowledge.
