The most recent ABA survey on bank marketing sales and technology revealed important trends. Respondents shared what they have found most valuable about each technology. Importantly, nearly half of responding institutions have deployed some type of marketing or sales technology, but many are not yet taking full advantage of its capabilities.
For Financial Literacy Month in April, the ABA Banking Journal Podcast features a conversation on how banks are engaging their communities with financial education. The ABA Foundation’s Kelsey Havemann discusses a brand-new K-2 Teach Children to Save curriculum launching soon, and Lindsay Torrico talks about the Foundation’s big goal to help five million people get on the path to financial prosperity.
The ABA and seven financial and health care trade associations have urged the Federal Communications Committee to reject a request from the National Consumer Law Center that the FCC require callers to include an automated "opt-out mechanism" on every call that contains an artificial or prerecorded voice message.
