AMP "Beer" Pong Tournament

Thank you so much to everyone that came out to the AMP Network's annual beer pong tournament last Friday! It was a great night filled with laughs, rivalries, and some incredible costumes.

100 Year Gala Trivia Winners

At our 100 Year Gala in February we had a trivia sheet with questions about BCEA and the last 100 years of the electrical industry. The winners of this trivia were Greg Stephenson, Tanya Wyers, Bobbi Giesbrecht, Gerry Wyers, Wendy Jenkins, Allison Straghan, and Brad Ratel. Congratulations!

Island Trade Shows – Victoria and Nanaimo
BCEA has two tabletop trade shows happening on Vancouver Island next month! First up on April 16 in Nanaimo and then April 18 in Victoria. Both shows will open with an educational seminar from Joel Feenstra on the topic of the new changes to the Canadian Electrical Code. These shows will also double as career fairs for the local community. Click the link below to register to attend the shows at no cost!

For exhibitors, the Nanaimo show is sold out and the Victoria show has limited space left. However, we do still have sponsorship opportunities available at both shows.
THRIVE Summit – May 9, 2024
BCEA's THRIVE summit in collaboration with our Women's Network is back! This conference is an opportunity for women and men from the electrical industry to uplift women in leadership, network, and attend sessions about various topics.

2024 Golf Tournament Registrations Now Open

BCEA's golf tournaments are back this summer!

This year there will be a reverse draw for $1000 at the Victoria and Kelowna tournaments, and a chance to win a $1500 travel voucher at the Morgan Creek tournament! Your ticket cost includes a lunch voucher, golf cart, golf fee, and an awards dinner.

The Women's Network Wine Wednesdays are back this year! Join us on April 24 as we kick off the season in Mission, BC with the theme "Sparkling Wines." There is no cost to attend this event, but we ask that you bring a wine that is in line with the theme and an appetizer or dessert to pair it with. Registration for our online Basic Electricity Course is now live. This course is a great primer for anyone new to the industry or who wants a refresher on the more basic aspects of the supply chain industry.
